Our Awards
Winner of more than 30 national and international awards, McConnel has blazed a trail for quality and innovation for nearly 90 years.
Among the honours picked up by the company include: the 2001 Queen’s Award for Innovation which the company received for its pioneering Easy Drive System, the prestigious Burke Trophy, and the Shrophire Chamber of Commerce Champion of Champions Award.
Royal Visit
HRH The Princess Royal visited McConnel in 2005 to help the company celebrate its 70th anniversary.
Queens Award
McConnel's performance-enhancing Easy Drive System won the Queen's Award for Innovation in 2002.
Dr Alban Davies Trophy
HRH the Prince of Wales presented McConnel with the Dr Alban Davies Trophy at the 2004 Royal Welsh Show.
